Optional Knox CE approved armour is available and recommended for the hips, knees, elbows and shoulders. Hood has always used Knox armour within its products. Knox are a British company based in Cumbria, they are world leaders in body protection systems.
For the hips and shoulders we use Knox Advanced X. Award winning protection. A best seller. 3 layer armour with a honeycomb core.Ultra lightweight. Completely flexible.
For the knees and elbows we use Knox Air X In K resin with built in memory. The size can be altered by squeezing the sides. Breathable. Honeycomb inner for superior impact protection.
