Dear kind Hood people,
.....The jeans themselves are incredibly well made. I was bowled over by the quality. They’re so comfortable on and off the bike, I’ll never where anything else.
The reason for the repair is that I crashed my BMW R1100GS in May after returning from a trackday. A stunning error of judgement saw me pitching into a 180° slip road at approximately 75mph, about 30mph too quickly apparently. I leaned the bike as far as it would go, but the combination of the piston heads and panniers touching down meant the front wheel washed out and the bike cracked into the armco, writing it off. I tumbled along behind it, taking the weight of the bike for a split second on my ankle, and sliding along on the knee and arse.
I didn’t have a mark on my leg, apart from slight bruising around the ankle (thank Christ for Daytona boots). The armour stood up excellently, the Kevlar was untouched. The demin, predictably tore, but the protective qualities of the jeans kept my skin intact.
Unforunately, the paramedics attending the scene had to cut them off me to assess the damage to my ankle. They had to change their scissors for sharper ones to cut through the Kevlar, and even then, had to cut right at the edge, where it’s attached to the denim. I couldn’t help but laugh.
The jeans are now in a sorry state, and I’m thrilled to be told that they will hopefully be repaired. I’m not fussy about the looks of them, really, as I’m a scruffy git anyway, but to have them useable again will be fantastic. I’m back in leathers for now. I hate them.

I was involved in a major road accident at the end of June. I was hit by a car changing lanes and came off the bike at around 70mph, losing consciousness in the process. I escaped any sort of major injury despite the K7 jeans and the armour being badly damaged in the process. I’m very glad I had these as I’d only bought them a few weeks prior to the accident and as you can see from the attached pictures, the knee took a lot of damage. The A&E department at the hospital were quite amazed that I’d not damaged my hips or got anything more than bruising to my knees.

I just want to thank you for a great product. I received my K-7 jeans for my birthday in August. This morning, I lowsided my Triumph Bonneville in a highway construction zone on a patch of loose tarmac. The jeans kept me from getting any scrapes, performing their job wonderfully. “Unfortunately, I lowsided my Bandit at about 40/45MPH a couple of weeks ago, the bike was written off but I was fine. One of the main reasons that I was fine was due to the fact I was wearing a pair of your “Army Green trousers”. My right knee was the first part of me to hit the tarmac and it took most of the abrasive force before I rolled away from the bike. Owing to the force of the abrasion, both layers of Aramid were nearly worn through but they did their job and literally saved my skin.
