Knitted Para-Aramid protected areas

Concept 6 Jean

The Hood – Concept Six jean has hi-tech soft knitted Para-Aramid protecting the main crash points. The knitted Para-Aramid covers the knees, backside and outside of the legs and thighs. This expensive military grade fabric gives excellent protection against abrasion; it is also very breathable and very comfortable. By concentrating the knitted Para-Aramid on the main crash points this helps to keep them as light and cool as possible. They are an ideal jean for really hot days or for wearing all day long on or off the bike.

Road Test

I've got some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that I've crashed and wrecked my jeans.

The good news is that they did an incredible job of protecting me, no less than I'd expect from leathers in the same situation. I flipped a wheelie on a CCM flat-tracker, and landed straight on my arse. The jeans tore in a few places, the inner reinforcement saved my skin completely. I have two light bruises on my arse to show for it, which is outstanding.
