Knitted Para-Aramid protected areas.

The Hood – Concept Six range has hi-tech soft knitted Para-Aramid protecting the main crash points. The knitted Para-Aramid covers the knees, backside and outside of the legs and thighs. This expensive fabric gives excellent protection against abrasion; it is also very breathable and very comfortable. By concentrating the knitted Para-Aramid on the main crash points this helps to keep them as light and cool as possible. Woven Para-Aramid Protection

We believe the Hood Original Range of motorcycle jeans has for many years been the best on the market. This is mainly due to them being lined with large amounts of woven Para-Aramid. The Para-Aramid therefore covers more areas, giving a higher level of protection then other products. This also means that even if the jean moves during an accident there is still Para-Aramid where it is needed. In drag tests and real life feedback the Para-Aramid lining has stayed totally intact, helping to protect against abrasion.
