After ten years of success with Hood Jeans, it’s still
comments like below that mean the most to us...

After ten years

Pic - Above left. 90mph slide until stationery (no impact), couple of rolls near the end.

The outer fabric makes it look bad but the worst you can say about the para-aramid fibres is it looks slightly
fluffy and a bit grubby - it would be good to do exactly the same again. Highly recommended.

I just want to say thanks for producing some great motorcycle jeans.

I put mine to the test a few weeks ago and I am very happy to tell you that they gave excellent protection when I hit the road. The jeans came away without a scratch and protected me extremely well from a short slide under my Rocket 3. I had a lot of bruising on my leg, hip and ribs but no abrasions.

I fractured some ribs and destroyed my collar bone but my trusted Hood jeans did a great job.

Pic - Above right. I came off the bike at around 70mph, losing consciousness in the process.
I escaped any sort of major injury despite the K7 jeans and the armour being badly damaged in the process.
I’m very glad I had these as I’d only bought them a few weeks prior to the accident.

The A&E department at the hospital were quite amazed that I’d not damaged my hips or
got anything more than bruising to my knees.

I’ve been meaning to write for ages, I’m really pleased with my H2 Jeans.
The quality and fit are really good; it’s nice to buy a product that’s made in the UK.

Your K7 jeans were spectacular. I lowsided the bike at about 40 miles per hour and slid about
75 feet down the road. I must have hit my right knee because the cotton portion of the jean was worn
through to the armour, although the armour itself was totally untouched.

There were also some relatively minor wear spots over my right buttock area where the
jeans wore through the cotton to the Kevlar which remained completely intact. I did not have a single
abrasion on any part of my body that was covered by the jeans.

45+ mph crash wearing Hood K7 jeans. The denim wore through in several places but not the
para-aramid. No road rash anywhere. The ER nurse pointed out the fly was worn down to para-aramid as well.
The Knox knee armour stayed in place very well.

The attending Doc commutes on a GS1200 and was very impressed,
wanted to know what they were, etc. I’ll be replacing them!
